how to use

To edit a page in wordpress, you first need to log into the back end.  To do this, go to

pwi-eTo make thing simple, go back to the web site. You can do this by clicking on pwi-e at the top left of the screen. It’s shown on this pic.

After you do that you’ll be back at the normal web site, but with one difference.  A thin black bar is now at the top of the screen, allowing you to go back and forth between the front and back ends of the web site.

editNow go to the part of the web site that you want to edit. When you get there, click on the words “edit page” on the black bar. This will take you back to the back end, but on the page you were just at. So if you were on Magnetometers, you’ll still be on Magnetometers, but in the backend.

Right now the back end is usually made up of little grey blocks. This will change on the next theme upgrade and became easier.

3linesEach block represents a section. A picture, some text, etc. To edit the text you want to change, click on the corresponding block in the three lines area. After this the black will open. Scroll down and you will find an area where you can type, similar to pages.

Make your changes, save the black and update the page.
